Nicole Sisti,
LCSW
As a mind-body-oriented therapist, I believe that our thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and physical body are interconnected. I combine theories of talk therapy while emphasizing the need to feel, re-process, and experience new emotions in the present moment. My work focuses on individuals, couples, and families.

In order to grow, we must notice the way we exist in the world.

Approach

Brainspotting
Brainspotting is designed to help you access, process, and overcome trauma, negative emotions, and painful experiences by using biolateral stimulation and focal points.

Family Therapy
Family therapy focuses on the system as a whole and acknowledges everyone's role within the dynamic. The goal is to resolve conflict and improve family functioning.

Psychodynamic Therapies
Known as “traditional talk therapy,” this approach will help you gain insight of patterns developed early on in life with your family of origin and how they impact you in the present moment.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the ability to bring awareness to the present moment. It will increase your skill at identifying emotions and sensations when they arrive into the room.

Behavioral therapy focuses on current behaviors and how they are reinforced in your everyday life. This includes concrete, present-focused and structured techniques

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy focuses on the relational dynamic between you and your partner(s). The goal is to identify and express unmet needs while embodying empathy

I am a partnering clinician with Backline, a non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources.
